What is MAT Exam?
Management Aptitude Test or MAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admissions to MBA/PGDM courses at 800+ B-schools in India. MAT is considered one of the most student friendly entrance exams there is option to take multiple attempts and whenever one is ready for it. The exam is conducted in multiple sessions in four phases – February, May, September and December. 
 
MAT exam is conducted in offline (Paper Based Test or PBT), online (Computer Based Test or CBT) and remote proctored (Internet Based Test or IBT) modes. Candidates can take multiple attempts in any mode of their choice. However, they have to register for each session separately. The score of the last MAT test will be taken into consideration for admission. The syllabus and pattern of MAT exam are similar to other MBA entrance exams but the difficulty level is low. 
 MAT Test Structure:
MAT has five sections, each with thirty questions. A total of 150 questions are to be attempted over 120 minutes.

MAT Eligibility Criteria 2024
For appearing in MAT exam 2024, aspirants have to fulfill certain academic requirements fixed by the examination agency. Given below are the eligibility criteria for MAT exam 2024:
·         Candidates should have completed graduation or equivalent degree from a UGC recognised university.
·         The graduation degree can be in any stream and any course
·         Final year graduation students awaiting their results are also eligible to apply for MAT 2024.
·         There is no minimum score requirement for MAT. Candidates with passing marks can appear for the exam.
·         There is no age limit to appear in MAT. Fresh graduates as well as working professionals both can appear for the exam.
·         Candidates who have completed a professional degree such as CACS or ICWA are also eligible to apply for the MAT exam.

MAT 2025 Application Form:

For the February session, AIMA will start offering the MAT 2025 application form in the fourth week of December 2024.
The registration process will only be available online to candidates; no offline methods will be permitted.
It will be necessary for candidates to fill out the form with personal, academic, and other requested information.
It is advised that applicants avoid filling out more than one application form on the internet.
Once the form has been completed, upload the required files, which include a passport-sized photo and a signature in a particular format.
The application for MAT 2025 must be submitted by the first week of March 2025.
As the authorities will be removing the link from the website, candidates must finish the registration process before the deadline.
Rechecking the completed form’s details is required before submitting it.
Remember to include a paper copy of the application so it can be used later in the admissions process.
Application Fee:
  • There will be an online option for paying the registration cost.
  • There won’t be any other option accessible to submit the fee except online.
  • To pay the cost, options like net banking, credit cards, and debit cards will be offered.
  • Should candidates want to use an additional test mode, there will be an additional fee of Rs. 1,200/-.

How to Apply for MAT 2025

Step 1: Visit the webpage online (the link is provided above).
Step 2: Select the “MAT 2025 Registration” link from the webpage.
Step 3: To apply and obtain an OTP for verification, enter a working email address and mobile number.
Step 4: To finish the registration process, begin with the login procedure.
Step 5: To finish the process, choose the exam mode, test city, payment method, and other information.
Step 6: At this point, upload the scanned copies of your resume, credentials, experience, and list of preferred management schools.
Step 7: To continue, pay the online application cost and click the “Submit” button.
Step 8: Print a copy of the completed form and save it somewhere secure in case you need it later.
