What is CUCET?

CUCET is a University-level entrance test conducted online by Chandigarh University(CU). The exam is mandatory for admission to different undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the university in streams like engineering and management. CU’s Common Entrance Test also offers scholarships for all its Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs. 

CUCET 2024 application form process for Phase 2 has started. Interested candidates can now register for the CUCET 2024 Phase 2 online at cucet.cuchd.in until the extended date i.e., August 30, 2024. Chandigarh University is conducting the CUCET 2024 Phase 2 exam from July 30 to August 31, 2024.

Candidates can fill out the CUCET 2024 application form online and offline. CUCET 2024 is being held as an online remote-proctored test. Candidates must follow the CUCET 2024 rules and regulations and should have a laptop, web camera and a stable internet connection. An exam invigilator will also be available for the candidates on 'Live Chat' to guide and answer their doubts.

After the exam is conducted, Chandigarh University will release the CUCET 2024 result in real-time/on the same date. All candidates who qualify the examination with a minimum of 30% marks will then be eligible for admission into the BTech courses offered by the University.

CUCET Chandigarh University 2024

EligibilityCriteria:

Candidates aspiring for admission to Chandigarh University are required to fulfil all the eligibility conditions before filling CUCET application form. The prescribed eligibility for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses are as follows:

Eligibility for UG courses:

  • Candidates must have secured 50 per cent or more marks in their secondary Education (10+2) from a recognized Board (CBSE/PSEB/ICSE or any other recognized State/National Board).

  • Students appearing for secondary education (10+2) in 2024 are also eligible to apply for the CUCET.

Eligibility for PG courses:

  • Students looking for admission to postgraduate (PG) courses are required to have scored 50 per cent or more marks in their graduation.

  • Candidates must have passed their graduation from the UGC recognised University.
