 Advantages of BA B.Ed Course

As a student, you may have a passion for teaching a particular subject you are passionate about. However, pursuing studies related to that subject after 12th, and then doing B.Ed to become eligible for teaching may become a time-consuming project. In this case, 4 years integrated B.Ed course will be quite helpful. The integrated BA B.Ed course combines Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education and continues for a time of 4 years only.

The incorporated program is a double degree in nature. Towards the completion of the course, graduates will be granted two degrees - a Bachelor’s degree (selected by the student) and a B.Ed degree. Obtaining 2 degrees within 4 years is an excellent arrangement. It is better to go for an integrated BA B.Ed rather than going for a BA and after that for a B.Ed. For an integrated degree, it will be of 4 years and if one goes for both independently, it will take 5 years.

Along with the advantage of saving 1 year, it will assist one with saving money because the fee of each college increases each year. Thus, if one is admitted to BEd after 3 years of BA, then the expense for the same will be moderately higher than the expense of BA B.Ed integrated. To take up BEd course the customary way, one must have a Bachelor’s certificate to pursue it. BEd., in its conventional format, is a PG course.  Students are relieved to an extent while pursuing an integrated course. 

In the case of the customary course, a student needs to apply for separate admission procedures and formalities to get admission to a B.Ed programme after finishing graduation.
