What after BA in History?

Students after successfully completing BA in History, they can opt for further studies, such as MA in History and then can take up research by pursuing PhD in History. Apart from these they can also take up various specializations such as Archeology, Museology and Archival Studies.

Apart from studying they can also join a school as a teacher, or take up the profession of an archaeologist or a historian. History is one of the core subjects in various Union Service Exams, from where majority of the questions are asked, thus one can start preparing for Union Service exams post completing BA in History

BA in History Admission Process 2024

Candidates who aspire to pursue BA in History are required to appear for various entrance exams that are conducted by Colleges / Universities across the country.

The entrance exams can be both MCQ based or might have subjective questions, carrying 25 marks for each question. The syllabus for BA in History entrance examination generally covers topics studied in +2 board exams. 

-BA in History admissions for colleges like Lady Shri Ram College for Women will begin from May 2024 and for University of Calcutta, the registration for BA in History will begin from the June 2024

-The list of entrance exams conducted for enrolling students for BA in History courses are CUET, IPUCET, NPAT

-The BA in History application form ranges from INR 1,200 - 2,000 

-BA in History can also be pursued in Distance Mode, from colleges like IGNOU, Annamalai University etc.
